Mission work
ECM has teams working in Dornbirn, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Villach and Vienna. Our emphasis lies helping churches to become autonomous, reach out into their community and to have an impact on their region. Much of our ministry involves discipleship and leadership development, in both the adult and younger generations.

ECM longs for...
Most Austrians enjoy a comfortable lifestyle and have relatively few needs. Therefore, the search for happiness and fulfillment is high on many people's agenda. However, the pressure to succeed is great (most keenly felt by the younger generation) and family relationships are often damaged or strained.

The church helps people find peaceful fulfillment that leads to lasting joy by introducing them to Jesus. By building vibrant worshipping communities that reach into society in a myriad of ways people can find meaning and purpose and healing in broken relationships.

ECM longs to see that the Gospel becomes relevant to Austrians again. Through church planting, church development and youth work, the missionaries try to show the invaluable worth of a life with Christ.
