Terence Bell

"And to [the Son of Man] was given a dominion, honour, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and languages might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed." Daniel 7:14

The Gospel was first preached in the Slovene language in 1523, after nearly a thousand years of enduring a Latin-only church without hearing that message. The next century saw the Gospel (and Slovene) bloom and flourish in some regions. Then, Protestant Slovenes were exiled, and the Gospel faded from view. Most Slovene families have not had contact with the gospel for more than 13 generations, if ever, and the tiny evangelical churches are still shrinking. Let’s be part of seeing this fact change! I will strategically work in prayerful dependence upon God in university ministry (Zveš) to see students hear, believe, be trained in, and sent out with the Good News of the true Saviour: not education, but Christ Jesus.
