Keith Cowan

Keith Cowan joined the ECMI-USA team in February 2023 as Vice President of Finance and Operations. In this role Keith is responsible for overseeing financial and operational matters for our donors, missionaries and staff as well as partnering with other leaders to accomplish our mission to make disciples of Jesus by planting churches in Europe.

Keith brings significant experience to ECMI having served in multiple corporate, not-for-profit and church leadership roles. Most recently he served as CFO of Food for the Hungry, a Christian international relief and development organization operating in Africa, Asia and Latin America.  Keith is a CPA and also previously worked for the Desert Botanical Garden, AAA Arizona, Honeywell International and PwC. He has a passion for the local church and actively serves his church by helping lead in several areas including community groups and outreach.

Outside of work and ministry, Keith enjoys travel, hiking and biking. He has been blessed to visit more than 30 countries (so far!) - including many in Europe - and loves connecting with people from around the world. Keith and his wife Julie live in Phoenix, Arizona, are both two-time graduates of the University of Michigan and have two married adult children.

Keith is grateful to join the work of ECMI and looks forward to what the Lord will do in and through our ministry in the years ahead.
